Customer Service

Both our Edgehill, St Thomas and Haggatt Hall, St Michael locations are open Monday – Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM. We are closed Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

We are not equipped to provide the facilties for payment plans or credit.  What we can do is provide you with an estimate which you can take to any financing institution to apply for a small loan.  For example: Courts/Unicomer Financing.
Yes, we provide a 1 year warranty on all plumbing and sanitary ware for manufactures’ defects. There is a 3 year warranty on the ceramic washerless cartridge for plumbing fixtures. LED products carry a 3 year warranty for manufactures defects. Warranty void if products not installed by a qualified plumber and/or electrician.

All items except steel and aluminum materials are delivered free, for purchases over $200 BBD. A flat rate of $35 applies to all orders under $200.

Steel and aluminium materials are delivered free for purchases over $500 BBD. A $65 BBD flat rate applies for orders below $500 BBD.

Orders will be delivered within an estimated 2-3 business days (Monday -Friday, except holidays) after purchase date, based on delivery location and scheduled delivery routes.

You will be contacted during the processing of your order to set an agreed delivery time.

Delivery is strictly to site ground floor and does not include manoeuvring up stairwells.

All items will be checked for damages at the time of delivery, please notify the delivery team if you notice any damages or missing items.

Ordering

  1. Add items to your cart
  2. Click the “Cart” link in the upper-right side of any page. Click “Proceed to Checkout”
  3. Proceed through checkout, clicking “Next” along the way to move to the next step
  4. Asterisks indicate required fields during checkout – be sure to fill in these required fields so that we have all the information needed to process your order
  5. When you reach the Order Review page, click “Submit Order” to submit your order for processing
  6. Once your order has been submitted, you’ll see an Order Confirmation page with your web order number and order details. An email order confirmation with your final availability, pricing, and order number will be sent to the email address associated with your user ID in the My Account area.

We process orders really fast at Platinum so this can be tricky. If you can call us within 30 minutes of placing an order we can do our best to help out.

This can be complicated due to the nature of the goods we sell. The best place to start is by giving us a call at 1-246-424-2488 and we’ll certainly see what we can do.

Order status

That’s strange!
  1. A good place to start would be checking your “Junk” or “Spam” folders and make sure our confirmation email didn’t end up in there.
  2. Make sure to add us to your address book: orders@platinumimportsinc.com
  3. Verify that you’ve given us the right email address in the “My Account” page
  4. If needed, give us a call and we’ll get it all cleared up.1-246-424-2488
This one’s easy. Make sure you’re logged into your Platinum Imports account, head over to the My Account section and click on Orders. Next to all your orders you’ll see the most recent status update and can easily click in to see further details and track your order. ORDER STATUS LEGEND
  1. Not Yet Shipped – The order is being prepared for shipment/pickup
  2. Backordered – The order cannot be filled because not all items are currently available
  3. Partial Order Filled – Parts of the order have been picked up or given to the carrier for shipping; there are still parts of the order left to fulfill
  4. Shipped/Picked Up – The order has been filled and picked up by the customer or given to the carrier for shipping
  5. Canceled – The order has been canceled by the customer

Once you have submitted your order. 

 

After the order has been submitted, you’ll get a confirmation email from us, including an order number, shipping dates etc.

Signing in

Your email address.

  1. Shhh…it’s supposed to be a secret! We don’t actually know your password, but if you’ve forgotten that’s not a problem. You can just reset your password from the Account Log In page.
  2. If you still run into any problems just give us a call 1-246-424-2488
  1. Make sure you are registered on Platinum Imports. If not, go ahead and create an account.
  2. Make sure you’ve got the right email address and password – if you can’t remember either head over to the Account Log In page and reset your password.

My account

  1. Log into your Account and click on my account in the top right.
  2. Once there, you can manage your default address, add additional address, manage additional users (if you are an Admin User) etc.

Generally, the lifespan of the LED component in bulbs and fixtures ranges between 30,000-40,000 hours.
Warm white is similar to incandescent light, with a colour temperature of 2700-3200K. Neutral/Natural white is the middle of the spectrum. with a colour temperature of 3500K-4500K Cool white is similar to fluorescent light, with a colour temperature of 5000K-6000K.
LEDs generate a very small amount of heat and are much safer than incandescent, halogen or CFL light bulbs. You can handle them without worry, even after they have been plugged in for days.
